Blacksburg, Va – On Sunday, March 20, one of the most awaited spring bridal showcases in the New River Valley will be held once again at the classy and elegant Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center, in Blacksburg, Va. We are thrilled to be welcoming back for the third time, Arielle Rosmarino, Miss Virginia USA 2014, as our host-emcee for this event.

Over 50 area vendors have been working hard to create this highly anticipated event that will display the best in wedding planning, venues, catering, cakes, music, flowers, beauty, confectioners, photography, videography, honeymoon planning, and more. The bridal brunch is put on like any wedding should be: with style, grace, fun, and professionalism.

“This year’s event is different because in addition to the tastings we will have by our catering vendors, we will also have a wine tasting courtesy of Zeppoli’s Restaurant and Wine Shop in Blacksburg,” said Marivic Gallimore, President and Founder of NRV Bridals and Events and Elegance by Marivic LLC. “Don’t forget your IDs, because this is, of course, just for brides and their bridal party, age 21 and up!”

In addition to NRV Bridals and Events, Inc., the show is sponsored by the Virginia is for Weddings, the Best of NRV, Roanoke & SWVA Weddings Magazine, the Proms, Pageants & Pretty Things at the Bride’s House, Her Perfect Day Boutique, Elegance by Marivic LLC., and The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center. Together, they have over 50 years of experience in bridals and events planning.

All cash donations at the door will benefit Wags for Waffles, a cause that supports our local Humane Society of Montgomery County and the Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care & Control.

This year’s lucky recipients of our 2016 annual Make-a-Wedding Wish Come True, a local military couple will be attending the show. Since the launch of this program in 2010, five wedding giveaways have been successfully celebrated with $15,000 per year in average donations from participating vendors over the last five years.

This show is ideal for couples planning a wedding in fall 2016 or 2017. Brides may go online to the NRV Bridals and Events website to pre-register and secure free tickets, and all other guests pay $5 each to attend the event.
