Fifth Lucky Recipients of the Annual Make-A-Wedding-Wish Come True are set to say their “I do’s” on Sunday, September 20, 2015.

BLACKSBURG, Va – Now in its fifth year, the NRV Bridals and Events’ Make-A-Wedding-Wish Come True is quickly becoming a tradition that is greatly anticipated. This year’s contest was awarded to not only one, but two teachers who are currently working for a school system in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Elizabeth Kile and Scott Metz-Davidson are both teachers for Montgomery Co. Public Schools, and their wedding wishes will be granted this Sunday, September 20, 2015.

Members of NRV Bridals and Events are delighted to grant this hardworking and loving couple the wedding of their dreams. We are truly grateful with the generosity of our local wedding professionals. About 30 local businesses and volunteers will be working together this coming weekend to organize the fifth annual Make-A-Wedding-Wish Come True event. The wedding services provided by our amazing members, including three certified wedding planners, caterers, a photographer, videographer, florist, decorators, graphic designers, cake bakers, limousine service, hotel accommodation, hairstylists, makeup artists, DJ & musicians. This year, the newly restored Alexander Black House in Downtown Blacksburg, Va, will be the wedding venue for the couple’s reception. Another wish requested by the bride will be granted this Sunday, September 20the wedding ceremony will be held at her grandparents’ backyard, the exact location where her own parents were married, 34 years ago.

As a non-profit organization, NRV Bridals and Events is always looking for an opportunity to give back to the local community. Granting this wedding wish to two wonderfully dedicated teachers allows this organization to truly contribute to bettering the community.

In addition, NRV Bridals and Events hold various events and bridal expos that are open to the community, especially those who are newly engaged. On Sunday, October 25, 2015, NRV Bridals and Events will be co-hosting with Virginia is for Weddings and many other sponsors its Sixth Biannual Southwest VA Bridal Expo & Charity Event at the Salem Civic Center. All proceeds will benefit the Sixth Lucky Recipients of Make-A-Wedding-Wish Come True who will be chosen during the bridal expo on Sunday, October 25.
